My heart is a watermelon

My heart is a watermelon

Which I offer for your consumption.

Please gorge yourself; swallow the pits.

It is my gift to you.

I want you to enjoy.

Sprinkle salt, if you want to,

And let the juices dribble down your chin.

Eat it right down to the rind.

And then,

If you have not become sick,

We will talk no longer with bitter tongues,

But sweet.
